Veterans/Remembrance Day 2012

Every year we try to pay special respects to the Veterans of our past wars WW1,WW2,Korea,Vietnam,UN actions,Iraqi & Afghanistan.Sadly our WW1 men are all but gone, with WW2 close behind. Our men who have served in later conflicts have created a whole new generation of Veterans to honor. Unfortunately, the next generation feel they have nothing to be grateful for and the education system teaches them nothing about respect. I can remember Nov 11th ceremonies with whole batallions of my neighbors being cheered by students as they marched past. Now the students dont get time off to go to the Memorials.Shame on us.God love them.My family is military and we will be there until we cant go any longer

9-11 it will come every year

This generations Dec 7. I am older and close to 12-7 but things are different. They have won because America is now a society that has turned paranoid. They won because more money and time is wasted in useless high tech airport security. You got to figure these cave dwellers are going to go low tech and attck targets that arent protected.
Time to reel in Homeland and just go common sense.Stop strip searching 70 year old Nuns and just get more sniffer dogs.Let the cave dwellers fight it out among themselves and bring the troops home from everywhere and have them protect this continent.God Bless America and Canada.

Happy Memorial Day to our American Allies!

Time finds us once again standing with our allies the USA in a war against evil. For 8 years now in Afghanistan longer than any war in our history. We salute your brave soldiers and as a former Army man I cannot figure why they lack the support of the people that they deserve. The people must feel that security is vital at home and abroad, which it appears they dont.I blame the media for a lot of this as they second guess the leadership of the country, now and the previous administration. America is not a country that steals wealth from other countries,if they did the Iraq war would have given them a trillion dollars in oil compensation.Maybe it is time to love the mission, not just the soldiers.
